POLICE arrested 14 people early yesterday morning in connection with illegal road racing in Tsuen Wan.

Road blocks were set up after officers from the New Territories anti-road racing unit saw 13 motorcycles travelling at high speed on Route TWSK heading towards Sek Kong at about 1 am.

The motorcyclists were stopped near Chuen Lung Country Park and all 14 people - 13 men and a woman pillion passenger aged between 19 and 34 - were arrested.

The men were released on $5,000 bail each, while the 21-year-old woman was released on $1,000 bail.
