Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, one of the most famous names in sport, is returning to China to play in a four-game series against the Chinese national team next month. Abdul-Jabbar was the Milwaukee Bucks' top pick in the 1969 draft and played for them for six years. He was then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers where he stayed another 14 seasons. He retired with 38,387 career points - still an NBA record. Abdul-Jabbar won six NBA Championships in his illustrious career. The six-time NBA Most Valuable Player has played exhibitions in China before, most recently in 1996. 'I enjoy visiting China,' he said. 'My role in this Legends tour is to work with China's big men on improving their games.'
