Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai is given a tour of the Democratic Party's new headquarters, located in the Central Government Offices building, by party chairman Martin Lee Chu-ming. The Legislative Council President and independent lawmaker attracted attention during yesterday's party to mark the opening of the offices, when some councillors noticed she was wearing a green outfit strikingly similar to her hosts' party colour. 'Oh, you're wearing Democratic green,' the Frontier's Emily Lau Wai-hing said. But Ms Fan refused to be drawn. 'Not really,' she said, dismissing it as a 'coincidence'. Addressing guests including government officials and Legco colleagues, Mr Lee said the Democrats had been given a more spacious office than in the pre-handover era. 'In this respect, the relationship between the executive branch and the legislature was not bad,' Mr Lee said.
