Allen Lee's TV shame
I WATCHED Larry King's Live from Hongkong with horror and embarrassment for Allen Lee and his relentless begging for credit.
Watching him waving a piece of paper (said to be a letter written by Foreign Secretary, Mr Douglas Hurd) under Mr King's nose was farcical. It resembled a teenage girl showing off a Michael Jackson autograph.
There are other ample opportunities for Hongkong affairs advisers to show their patriotism; shaming Hongkong in front of an international TV audience is the worst way to accomplish that. ASTON TIN New Haven, Connecticut, US
