Keep eye on speedy bus service

I commute to the airport from Mui Wo across Lantau Island using the New Lantao Bus Company. Most evenings I return on the number 3 or 13 buses.

The trip is always rushed and regular travellers have grown used to the crazy roller-coaster ride, but on Friday, September 18, a new record was set. The number 3 left Tung Chung at 5.40pm and arrived at Silvermine Bay Ferry Pier at 6.11pm. To verify this, I used the ATM at Mui Wo which recorded the time as 18.16.

I suggest that the Transport Department monitors this service before someone attempts a new record.
