Three mainland men caught on their way to San Francisco with fake passports were jailed yesterday.

Lau Wing-san, 26, Chen Hak-kwai, 27, and Yeung Ming-heung, 27, hoped to enter the US to work, Eastern Court was told. The Fuzhou men pleaded guilty to possessing unlawful travel documents.

In August, Lau, Chen and Yeung paid between $45,000 and $48,000 to a middleman for help to enter the US. He gave them three fake Chinese passports.
