June bride waits for honeymoon

After a sumptuous wedding in June Jane Louey can't help but feel a little let down - she still hasn't gone on her honeymoon with husband James.

'We originally planned to go to Greece, Barcelona and the south of France in August,' she says.

'But everyone kept telling me this was the wrong time to go to Europe because everything is closed and people are off on holiday plus it would be too hot.' So Jane rescheduled her honeymoon to last month. However, her husband had to stay in town for business.

Jane now plans to go this month - although not to Europe. 'I want to travel light and not bring all these bulky winter clothes, so I guess we will go somewhere warm like Africa,' she says.

But Jane hasn't booked anything yet and is waiting from the green light from James.

'I'm quite disappointed in a way because the mood is different if we had gone on honeymoon straight after our wedding,' she says.
