Move over Michelle Yeoh, the new female action star is Shannon Lee, who makes her Hong Kong big-screen debut in Enter the Eagles.

Lee is young, talented and has the pedigree (she is the late Bruce Lee's daughter) to wow audiences with her high kicks and daredevil stunts.

And what you see are real martial arts techniques. For years, Shannon has been studying jeet kune do, wu shu, kick-boxing, and tae kwan do.

Shannon says she did most of her own stunts in the film at the cost of a twisted ankle and a few bruises, but shrugs such minor injuries off as 'all in a day's work'.

Enter the Eagles, filmed in Prague, also stars Michael Wong, Anita Yuen and Jordan Chan.

Shannon tells me that her favourite Bruce Lee flick is Enter the Dragon. 'I have all his movies at home. Enter the Dragon is my favourite because it had my dad's own voice and it wasn't dubbed,' she says.
