Two people were injured when dozens of property agents fighting for clients scuffled at a new housing complex in Ho Man Tin yesterday.

Up to 300 agents took up positions outside Dragon View in Chung Hau Street and swooped on arriving taxis and mini-buses carrying potential flat buyers.

Witnesses said the first fight broke out shortly after 10am when up to 50 Centaline, Midland Realty and Fortune Realty agents surrounded a taxi and tried to corner the passenger.

Police were called and erected metal fences to separate rival agencies. Managers later agreed to line up their agents and separate them on different street corners.

'The agents all rushed to the taxi, elbowing and pushing each other. There were screams and a few punches were exchanged. We just let the guys fight. The women agents stood aside,' a Centaline agent said.

Two men, aged 30 and 31, complained of hand and knee injuries and were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. They were later discharged. Police did not know who the two worked for.
