A consortium led by Sino Land has revised plans for a residential development on a Siu Sai Wan site it bought for a record $11.82 billion last year.

The revised plan, approved by the Buildings Department, reduces the number of blocks from 10 to eight.

The project will comprise 2.3 million square feet of residential space and 541,600 sq ft of commercial space in 55 and 56-storey blocks.

Sun Hung Kai Properties and Henderson Land Development also secured government approval for a revised plan to build one residential and three serviced-flats blocks on their joint venture in Hunghom.

The project involves 1.48 million sq ft of residential space and 19,060 sq ft of commercial space.

The two projects were among 31 building plans approved by the Buildings Department in August.
