Fare deal to elderly

CAN China Motor Bus explain why it is the only public transport company not to have discount fares for pensioners? Kowloon Motor Bus has reduced fares for the elderly and the Star Ferry does not even charge those people over 65.

I cannot understand CMB's grasping, uncharitable, attitude.

Also as a Stanley resident I would like to know why the bus fares at there are some of the most expensive and why it's served by some of the oldest buses in the territory? I have lived in Hongkong for more than 46 years and have heard so very often how CMB intends to buy new buses and improve services. So why is it that the only thing I see in Stanley is increased fares? To expect people to pay more is a disgrace when I see KMB improving its services, buying new buses and offering cheaper fares for the elderly. CMB should do the same. NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
