According to news reports, the company made a big profit this year, and cutting workers' salaries is no solution.
Hong Kong Telecom is a big enterprise. If it is successful in reducing wages, it would encourage smaller companies, too, to follow suit in order to survive this difficult period.
If everybody works together to overcome this crisis, I strongly believe that Hong Kong's economy will flourish in the long run and we will be better equipped to cope with future challenges.
