A taxi driver was pistol-whipped in an assault by five men in Kam Shan Country Park, Cheung Sha Wan. The five hailed his cab in Lek Yuen Estate, Sha Tin. On arriving in the country park the driver, 47, was tied up with wire before being pistol-whipped and dumped on a path. The robbers drove off but crashed the taxi into railings before fleeing with $700. The driver was taken to Caritas Medical Centre.
