A gang of teenagers imprisoned two girls in a hotel and threatened to rape one of them if she refused to strip, a court heard yesterday.
The girl, 14, was also forced to perform sex acts on two of the gang before she was released, the court was told.
The other girl, 15, was slapped on the face by one of the defendants, prosecutor Walter Lau said.
Cleaners Hui Ching-ngai and Tai Chun-lin, both 17, and students Ho Sai-kit, 15, Herbert Cheng Gee-leung, 17, and Yu Ka-ki, 16, denied two charges of false imprisonment.
They all denied another charge of criminal intimidation and burglary. Hui further denied procurement of an unlawful sexual act by threats.
Mr Lau told the District Court the two girls, both students, bumped into the five defendants in Causeway Bay on June 10.
The youths, whom they had met in April, tried to force the girls to talk to them.
