Horse trainer hurt in attack

Assistant horse trainer Danny Shum Chak-shing suffered head and hand injuries when he was attacked on the Lei Yue Mun waterfront by three men armed with planks last night.

Shum, 38, who works in Ivan Allan's stable, was on his way to a party to celebrate a win by the horse Indigenous on October 24. He was treated and discharged from hospital.
