Toys 'R' Us will remove all infant teething products containing toxic phthalate PVC after Greenpeace raided a local outlet two weeks ago and removed the items from shelves.

The global recall showed the retailer was 'responsible', Greenpeace China director Ho Wai Chi said.
Campaigners rounded up the offending toys at the Tsim Sha Tsui outlet, but management refused to withdraw the products on the spot.
'We now call on the company to withdraw all phthalate-containing PVC toys and products for children,' Mr Ho said.
Phthalates, which are added to plastic to make it more flexible, have been found to be carcinogenic and disrupt normal hormone function.
