The show, organised by the Provisional Regional Council and Hong Kong Wushu Union, was part of a council festival with the central theme of Chinese culture.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, council vice-chairman Tony Kan Chung-nin said: 'The biennial Regional Council Festival is aimed at providing people with different kinds of cultural, sports and recreational activities to enrich their lives.' The performance was also staged in North District and Yuen Long earlier this month.
