ETIENNE Aigner leather has its origins in 1904 and remains uncompromising in its tradition of demanding quality and durability. Only unblemished leather from free roaming cattle in France, Italy and Germany are used to create the ultra-fine quality leather designs. Aigner master craftsmen in Florence, Italy and in Germany, reject any leather that comes from hormone fed, stable bound or skin infected cattle. Cattle which have not been fed on natural grass in open fields or have been locked in stables for too long, away from the sun, or cattle which have been bitten by insects, are all rejected. After treatment, the famous Aigner leather sheen and quality are created to be finished off with equally fine metal accessories and reinforced stitching. The famous stylised horse-shoe logo in the shape of the ''A'' is a hallmark of quality, durability and classic styling. Aigner offers innovative leather fashion keynotes for the new season. Shoes are elegant or sporty with shoe shape and heel height maintaining long established comfort levels. Small leather goods are in a wide assortment of design styles, with handy storage pockets made in the new season's finely embossed lizard skin. With environmental protection in mind, Aigner's new Croco Look collection of bags, belts, shoes, luggage and accessories is created from calfskin. Another new addition is Aigner's elegant Grana Paglia line of finely embossed calf-skin, fashionably noble and exclusive. Aigner has come a long way from the days of practical black and brown with each line coming in 12 colours. Owing a piece of Aigner leather creation is buying a part of its long history and tradition; beautiful design which will not date and quality that lasts.
