As regional competition becomes more intensified following the Asian financial turmoil, we should have the vision of improving ourselves and main taining our leading position as a global service centre. I am glad to see that participants of the awards have made great efforts in improving the quality of their services through innovative ideas, leading technology and advanced management systems. I have no doubt that the services sector will continue to be an engine of growth for our economy.
