Daughter 'mistaken for wife'
A man told police he had sex with his 13-year-old daughter because he mistook her for his wife, a court heard yesterday.
The technician claimed he had sex with the girl 'because he thought she was his wife but later discovered his wife and daughter had changed their sleeping positions', prosecutor Dee Crebbin said.
The 38-year-old man has denied three counts of rape.
The girl testified in the Court of First Instance yesterday that the first attack took place late one night in February or March last year when her father slipped into the bed she shared with her two younger siblings, molested her, then raped her.
The man assaulted her again a month later while showing her the flat they were buying in Hunghom, the court was told.
'Together with my Daddy, I had walked the whole day and therefore I felt very tired and went into a room to sleep,' the girl said. The father followed her, molested her, then raped her, the court heard. A third attack was said to have occurred during Lunar New Year when the children were visiting their grandmother in the New Territories.
