Concordia Paper stands a good chance of being purchased, its receiver says. Alan Tang Chung-wah of receiver KPMG Peat Marwick said he was optimistic the nine-year-old firm would be bought rather than languish in liquidation, costing more than 400 jobs. More than 10 potential buyers had expressed an interest and the receiver was holding discussions with them in addition to advertising for bidders, he said. Bidders included local and overseas companies in related businesses, Mr Tang said.
