Give credit where credit is due and the licensing committee of the Jockey Club deserve accolades for the galaxy of riding stars lined up for Hong Kong over the next few months.

Mick Kinane, Gary Stevens, Kieren Fallon, Gerald Mosse and Olivier Peslier will add another dimension to Hong Kong's favourite sport.

And racegoers got their first look at new Club jockey Michael Hills at Friday's Happy Valley barrier trial session with the other top-liners due here at various stages in the next month.

Overcast skies greeted Hills at the first city barrier trials to be opened to the public and although no wins were to come his way, he was kept busy with rides in four of the six heats.

While Hills presence was one of the highlights of the morning it was Naturally Money from the stable of Andy Leung (pictured, right) who captured plenty of attention as he strode away from a smart field to win the third trial.

The Australian-bred three-year-old is a real speed machine and quickly established a big break on his rivals as he burnt grass through the first 800 metres in 47.0 seconds.
