More than 100 people have started queueing for the Saturday sale of 68 flats at Discovery Park in Tsuen Wan, prompting developers HKR International and New World Development to put an extra 98 units on offer.
The line began to emerge outside the sales office on Tuesday night after the developers announced prices below the secondary market.
In a bid to maintain order and prevent speculators from selling places in the queue, the developers started registering people yesterday.
The average price of the first 68 flats on sale is $3,998 per square foot, said to be more than 10 per cent below secondary-market prices.
Meanwhile, Cheung Kong (Holdings) said it had registered more than 250 potential buyers yesterday for the sale of 38 flats at its Vista Paradiso joint venture in Ma On Shan.
