Supporters swarm around Venezuelan presidential candidate Hugo Chavez Frias as he arrives in Caracas for his closing campaign rally. The failed coup leader told the giant rally - attended by an estimated 700,000 people - that an unstoppable people's revolution would sweep him to victory on Sunday. The retired army officer and poll favourite blasted a ruling political class which he said was 'rottenly corrupt'. 'We're not nearing power, we've already won power,' Mr Chavez, 44, told the cheering crowds. He faces only one serious revival, reformist independent Henrique Salas, 62.
