People paid price for democracy

AS a citizen of Hongkong, I was happy to hear that Sino-British talks will be resuming once again after all these months of ''negotiations''.

But, I don't think we should be too optimistic just yet as the Chinese side will not hesitate to build another ''stove'' if the British insist on political reform.

I am not against the package, but I wish to remind people that although talks may be resuming, agreements have yet to be formed.
