When I last returned to Hong Kong after a long flight, I waited at the airport for my wife to pick me up.
I looked around for a relaxing place in which to have a drink, but I could not find anything except a McDonald's restaurant and some fast-food shops.
I was about to give up, when I found this nice Irish pub hidden under the escalators at the arrival level.
It was really good to see something like this at a Hong Kong airport. But the Airport Authority needs to put up some signs for such facilities so that people can use them.
I am sure many expatriates would use such food and beverage outlets if they knew they existed.
I really appreciate the thought that has gone into making the airport comfortable and relaxing for travellers, but I do think more signs are needed.
