MONDAY: In the morning, I read the minutes of the subject panels' meetings and finalised applications for the Quality Education Fund. In the afternoon, I chaired a crisis management committee meeting. TUESDAY: Had meeting with teachers to discuss ways to improve teaching and learning. WEDNESDAY: Briefed teachers on school activities in the coming school cycle. Then checked the drafts of the first examination papers. I also attended a discipline committee meeting, which is held once every three weeks. THURSDAY: School Sports Day. In the evening, I attended the speech day of St Paul's College, where I used to teach. FRIDAY: School Sports Day. We invited paralympian Benny Cheung Wai-leung. The fencer, who received an International Junior Chamber of Commerce award as one of the 10 Outstanding Young People of the World, attended the closing ceremony and gave some encouraging words to students.
