St Catharine's School for Girls, Kwun Tong, recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Sir Jack Cater was guest-of- honour at the ceremony. Sir Jack was the first commissioner of the ICAC.
In his speech, he spoke about the setting up of the anti- corruption watchdog.
Founding principal Reverend Dr Joyce Bennett also attended.
Making her report, principal Sun Pong Tak-ling said Form Five graduates performed well in the HKCEE, with 815 distinctions and credits. The results of the Form Seven graduates were even better. They obtained a total of 202 distinctions and credits and 86 of the 88 graduates were offered places at local universities.
Students also won numerous prizes and awards in extra-curricular activities. The achievements of the students reflected the wide scope of interests and talents among them.
