An exhibition gives a chance for young scientists from different schools to explore the scientific world while making their projects relevant to daily life. The 32nd Joint School Science Exhibition (JSSE) will be held from July 30 to August 7 at the Hong Kong Science Museum. Its theme - 'Soul of Science' - is aimed at stimulating participants from various secondary schools to think about the reasons for practising science. The rapid developments in industry, the idea of cloning and the study of engineering are all part of science. You may think that science is beyond the reach of ordinary people. But this is not so because science exists for the sake of satisfying human needs. Besides the annual exhibition, the JSSE preparation committee will organise fund- raising activities such as a walkathon in the coming months in aid of non-profit operations.
