Prudential to sell via Chartered

Standard Chartered yesterday announced a deal giving Britain's Prudential direct access to its customer base in Hong Kong and Singapore. In a move which further strengthens its ambitions in the bancassurance market, Standard Chartered said all its customers in the region could start buying Prudential products and that it intended to work with the firm to sell tailored policies.
