Boy's terror at finding slain great aunt
A 14-year-old boy told yesterday how he arrived home from school to find his great aunt bludgeoned to death by a robber.
Choi Chi-wa said he was too frightened to call police and had left 90-year-old Lee Cheung-hing lying on the floor for almost two hours.
Lee was murdered during a robbery at the sixth-floor flat at Ngau Tau Kok Lower Estate on Monday.
Several thousand dollars was stolen from Lee, but larger sums hidden in the flat were untouched.
Chi-wa said he opened the door to his ransacked home at 4.30pm to find his great aunt lying on the floor with blood streaming from her head.
'I didn't call the police because I was very scared and I didn't know what to tell them,' he said.
He ran off to see a classmate but returned later to wait for his mother, who asked not to be named.
