Past student impresses athletes
Pauline House captured the overall championship and St Clare House won the best cheering team award at St Teresa Secondary School's 21st Athletic Meet at Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground.
Competition was intense and cheering teams dressed in their house colours endeavoured to spur the competitors on.
The guest-of-honour was Miss Wan Kin-yee, a past student of the school. She is Hong Kong's record holder in the 200 metres and 400 m hurdles and a member of the Hong Kong athletic team.
Wan gave an impressive demonstration of sprinting and advised students to have perseverance and confidence in themselves when doing things.
