A poster design competition hopes to stimulate students' creativity and interest in the arts.

Primary and secondary students can take part in the competition, which is a prelude to the Children's Arts Carnival scheduled for July and August.
There is no limit on the number of entries and each design can be created by one or more students.
Each poster should measure 59 centimetres by 42 cm for the primary section, and 76 cm by 51 cm for secondary students.
The winner of each section will get a book voucher worth $1,500. The first and second runners-up will each receive a book voucher worth $1,200 and $800 respectively.

The overall winner of the competition will receive an additional $500 book voucher.
