Oscar-winning actress Kim Basinger came clean on the set of her forthcoming film, I Dream of Africa, thanks to litres of Evian water. The 45-year-old star demanded cases of the pricey French mineral water to wash her hair on location, and also for bathing her three-year-old daughter, Ireland. Film sets in South Africa and Italy were stocked with 58 cases of the stuff, according to Hollywood gossip columnist Janet Charlton. As well as her washing water, Kim demanded a flunky to follow her around with an umbrella to protect her delicate skin from the sun. Her first husband, Ron Britton, revealed in his tell-all biography Kim Basinger, Longer Than Forever that she always demanded Evian supplies on film locations.
