Inadequate bus services
I live next to Castle Peak Road near the Gold Coast and I would like to add my experiences to the letter titled 'Disappointing bus service' (South China Morning Post, January 16).
The introduction of the No 962 bus to Central and Causeway Bay is a very welcome improvement to our previously inadequate public transport. In fact, the No 962 is so popular that the peak periods see buses hopelessly overcrowded and frustrated commuters left standing as yet another full bus passes them by.
The lack of public transport for our numerous residents employed at the new airport is another serious shortcoming that should be urgently addressed.
Perhaps the Transport Department can tell us what it is doing about these problems.
