A cold front this week is expected to see temperatures fall as low as during a similar cool spell last month. Cold, dry weather would come in from northern Guangdong and slowly move south, the Observatory predicted. It would affect Hong Kong for the rest of the week. While the maximum temperature today is expected to reach 21 degrees Celsius, by tomorrow it will drop to a minimum of 12 degrees and reach a maximum of 16. Thursday will be fine and dry with temperatures falling to a minimum of 10 degrees and rising to a maximum of 15 degrees. Friday would also be cold, the Observatory said.
