League champions Valley added another trophy to their cabinet when they won the First Division Cup at the National Sevens Tournament by defeating Kowloon 26-12 in the final at King's Park yesterday. Two tries from Isi Tu'ivai and one each from Rob Dingley and Robin Bredbury paved the way for the First Division champions' comfortable win. Tu'ivai converted two tries while Bredbury made one conversion to give Valley a psychological advantage going into this month's grand championship when the league's top teams battle it out for honours. Valley, who lost to arch-rivals Club 18-12 in the Foster's Premiership last Thursday, will be hoping to retain their title after appearing vulnerable recently. Police showed their strength when they won the Second Division Cup while DeA won the women's division in other matches.
