An exhibition will provide the public and secondary students with the latest information on tertiary education and further studies in Hong Kong. The Higher Education Expo '99, which will be held next month, is jointly organised by the eight tertiary institutions funded by the University Grants Committee to enhance students' preparation in their se lection of courses. The theme of this year's exhi bition is 'Higher Education for the 21st Century'. Specially-designed exhibi tion panels, printed materials and audio-visual and interac tive computer facilities will help visitors obtain first-hand infor mation on the institutions' lat est developments, academic programmes, admission re quirements, career prospects, supporting facilities and ser vices. Staff from the institutions will provide on-site advice and information. The expo will be held from March 11 to 14 at the Gordon Wu Hall, 1/F, BP International House, 8 Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. It will be open from noon to 7 pm on March 11; from 10 am to 7 pm on March 12 and 13; and from 10 am to 5 pm on March 14. Admission is free.
