Q-Tech sees 41pc leap for year

Electrical-appliance distributor Q-Tech Holdings saw its profit jump 41.09 per cent to $40.14 million for the year to June. Turnover increased 39.9 per cent to $811.83 million, while operating profit rose 46.45 per cent to $50.76 million during the period. Earnings per share were 17.3 cents, up 21.83 per cent from 14.2 cents. No final dividend was declared.
