Bilingual card

We refer to 'Chinese only' (South China Morning Post, February 12). Add-value machines display English or Chinese instructions on the screen, depending on which language the Octopus card has been encoded with. However, all customer service centres have the facility to change the language configuration on cards.

Your reader should ask staff to effect such change.
