Pop singers joined forces in a mini-concert and gave audiences a night to remember. Organised by Hit Radio 997, the 'Eddie Ng's Theme Song' concert was held at the International Trademart Centre, Kowloon Bay. Ng, a singer and composer, has written many songs for local artists. He has also produced albums of his own. The concert aimed to highlight the different aspects of his musical talents. Hundreds of fans flocked to the concert to show their support for him. In addition to singing his famous tunes, Ng also performed other hits composed by him, such as Jacky Cheung's I Should and Sammi Cheng's Crying Game and Ideal Companion. Three of Ng's best friends - Andy Hui, William So and Joey Tang - performed together with him, adding colour to the concert. So and Ng performed the award-winning The More You Kiss, The More You Sadden. The song, composed by Ng and sung by So, topped the pop charts and won several awards. 'I am excited and nervous, because it's been a long time since I've performed on stage,' Ng said. 'But I'm very happy I have the opportunity to display my different skills.' The singer-composer said his dream was to stage his own concert. 'I know it's not time yet, but I hope some day my dream will come true,' he said.
