To celebrate the opening of its new store at the Landmark and the launch of its clothing line, Louis Vuitton threw one of the best parties Hong Kong has seen in a long time. After the ribbon-cutting at the 6,600 square foot shop, guests were led to the old Joyce Boutique location in the Galleria. There, the young, hip, fashionable and trendy mingled with socialites and a sprinkling of movie stars while Moet et Chandon champagne flowed freely the entire night. A diverse programme of entertainment added to the fun of the evening, with contortionists flown in from San Francisco, a modern dance performance by the City Contemporary Dancers and Canto-pop singer Karen Mok's dulcet tones thrilled everyone. The techno beats were spun by DJ Geoffrey Gaines, who was flown in from New York. Exotic male dancers with perfectly chiselled torsos stole the show from their female counterparts. And in the wee hours of the morning, delicious food and snacks were served.
