SFC directors appointed

TWO executives from accountancy firm Coopers and Lybrand and Hongkong Bank have been appointed non-executive directors of the Securities and Futures Commission.

Bank economist and Legislative Councillor Vincent Cheng Hoi-chuen replaces Mr Denis Chang. Mr Cheng was a founder of the Co-operative Resources Centre but resigned from it last July. Mr Roderick Chalmers, managing partner of Coopers and Lybrand, has been reappointed for another two years.
