Think twice

Some say the five per cent decrease in domestic helpers' wages is not a big enough cut.

We are the lowest paid people in Hong Kong. We do not get enough given the hours that we work. Not only that, but we have to endure years of homesickness, being away from our children and loved ones.

Through our hard work we are able to help our employers, our country and our families.

I wish those supporting this wage cut would put themselves in our shoes.
