A COLOURFUL opening ceremony with balloons and ribbon-cutting was recently held to kick off the ''Cultural Week'' at Holy Trinity College. Organised by the school's students' association, the Cultural Week lasted for five days. A debate between students and teachers with the motion ''Law enforcing all citizens in Hongkong to donate their organs should be set up by the Government'' was held. The debate gave teachers and students a chance to exchange ideas and views on the controversial issue. Music and drama performances were also staged. The school hall was packed with an enthusiastic audience who enjoyed wonderful piano, violin and Chinese musical instruments performances. The students displayed their talent in acting in a drama called Wishing to Fly , which won heavy applause from the audience. In addition, a cultural exhibition and games stalls were set up to inform and entertain visitors. A lucky draw with attractive prizes was also held. The week ended on a high note with a prize-giving ceremony in which the principal, Sister Rosemary, and the vice-principal, Sister Julianna, presented prizes and souvenirs to the winners.
