SHKP snares $300m from sales of Royal View flats

Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has raised $300 million from the sale of 30 flats at Royal View in Mid-Levels since its launch early this month.

The project, formerly known as Royal Court, is a serviced-apartment complex previously held by SHKP for rental purposes.

SHKP also said it would consider releasing more units for internal sale at phase two of its Chelsea Heights development in Tuen Mun after registering more than 700 prospective buyers.

The developer sold 72 units at $3,200 per square foot to $3,300 per square foot through internal sale last week. Up to 161 units, or 20 per cent of phase two, could be reserved for internal sale.

The first 48 flats for public sale are being released at an average price of $2,613 per square foot on March 27.

SHKP said it would release four houses at its luxury development, Le Palais, in Tai Tam for sale soon.

Meanwhile, the 11 joint developers of the Belair Monte project in Fanling announced they would offer 38 units for sale on March 27. Registration will run from next Monday to Thursday.

Henderson Land Development last night released 40 units in phase three of Metro City in Tseung Kwan O for internal sale at an average of $3,400 per square foot.

The developer is releasing 56 units for public sale at an average price of $3,348 per square foot on April 2. Buyers registration will run from March 29 to March 31.
