THE tussle for training honours took a further twist at Happy Valley last night with winners for defending champion John Moore as well as for the chasing David Hill, Ivan Allan and Derek Cruz. Moore's success with Sunningdale in the second took him to 31 winners for the campaign, one ahead of Lawrie Fownes and David Hill. The rivalry between the big guns - Moore, Biancone and Allan - is intense with Allan claiming a moral victory last night as his stable sent out the quinella in the feature event, the $1 million Happy Valley Vase. After watching Wonderful Moment hold So Easy, Allan said: ''I'm five off the pace but I've been through my stable list and feel I have an outside chance of catching John). What the hell. I've got nothing to lose.'' Coming home hard and late down the outside is Hill, whose horses habitually hit form at this time of year. He took the last with Winged Foot.
