Cheung Kong (Holdings) has been selected as project partner for two Land Development Corp (LDC) urban renewal developments.
The residential-commercial projects, in Tai Kok Tsui and Wan Chai, have a combined estimated value of $640 million.
They were among eight redevelopment projects offered for tender by the LDC in January.
The Tai Kok Tsui project, in Cherry Street, has a capacity of about 220,660 square feet of residential space, 158,550 sq ft of office space and 50,590 sq ft of retail space.
The Wan Chai project, in Johnston Road, can provide 198,000 sq ft of residential space and 13,560 sq ft of retail space.
Pang Shiu-kee, managing director of S.K. Pang Surveyors & Co, said the accommodation value of the two sites should be less than $1,000 per sq ft.
