A 27-YEAR-OLD man yesterday appeared before San Po Kong Court charged with robbery, obstructing a police officer and carrying imitation firearms with criminal intent.
Hau Chuen-sum is alleged to have robbed, together with three others, Li Yee-leong in Wong Nai Chung Road on October 23 last year of $1,600 cash and bank cards.
On the same date Hau is also accused of robbing Ms Yuen Wai-kin of $6,000, a Rolex watch worth $23,000, two diamond rings worth $10,000 and a $1,500 necklace.
On November 20 last year Hau is alleged, together with others, to have robbed Honor Way Company of $7 million and 600,000 French francs (about HK$866,000).
Two other charges allege Hau obstructed a police officer on April 26 in Waterloo Road, Kowloon, and that he, and two others, had in their possession two imitation firearms with intent to commit a crime.
Hau was remanded in police custody until May 3 pending further inquiries.
