30-hour famine campaign organised by World Vision Hong Kong and Commercial

The 30-hour famine campaign, organised by World Vision Hong Kong and Commercial Radio 2, invites teenagers to join as campers to help the hungry and needy around the world.

By fasting for 30 hours, participants can learn more about the needs of the poor.

Each participant has to raise a minimum of $1,000 from sponsors before joining the camp to be held at Wan Chai Sports Ground on May 1 and 2.

Application forms are available from MTR Daily Stop, Circle K convenience stores, Giordano, Cafe de Carol, Jusco, HMV, St Honore Cake Shop, Dao Heng Bank and Overseas Trust Bank.

Completed application forms, together with a crossed cheque, should be sent to World Vision Hong Kong (30-Hour Famine), P O Box 99034, Tsim Sha Tsui by April 12.

Tickets for ordinary shows at 7.15 pm and 9.30 pm and weekend and public holiday screenings are $55, while weekday matinees at 2.30 pm and 5 pm are $42.
